The Charity

Woking Phab is a social club for people with and without disabilities for ages 15 years and up.

We do a wide range of activities on a Wednesday evening – quizzes, talks, bingo, arts & crafts, Wii games, Boccia, foodie nights, movie nights, Zumba, wheelchair dancing and much more.  We also have use of a kitchen for making yummy pancakes on pancake day and hot dogs for our movie nights.  We also have use of computers, a vibration exerciser & a quiet room.

We also go on day trips at the weekend to various places that members want to go to. These include  theatre trips, pub skittles, Ten-pin Bowling, an annual summer BBQ, Christmas party, a trip to the coast, annual fundraising event in the midlands and many more.  We’re open to any suggestions for activities you’d like to do, it’s a great way to socialise & get to know new people.

We go on a fun weekend to Chichester every other year with South East Phab, next one is November 2019. Phab groups across the region stay for the weekend at a lovely hotel and participate in various fun activities.  It’s a great way to meet people from other Phab clubs.

We meet every Wednesday evening 7.30pm – 9.30pm at the Woking Disability Resource Centre, Old School Place, Westfield, Woking, Surrey, GU22 9LY.  We’re in the building on the left of the car park as you come in.  All new members are welcome, if you’d like further information please email woking.phab@ntlworld.com / call Beverley on 01252 686303 or come along and see us.

Phab' s aim is to promote and encourage people of all abilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete inclusion within the wider community
